Βέβαια το "έγκλημα" του 31χρονου δεξιού μπακ των "κόκκινων διαβόλων" δεν ήταν πως θέλησε να περάσει μία ερωτική βραδιά μετά από ήττα της ομάδας του αλλά το γεγονός πως είναι εδώ και 12 χρόνια παντρεμένος με την Zoila Meneses με την οποία έχει μάλιστα και μία 10χρονη κόρη.

Αυτές οι "λεπτομέρειες" δεν εμπόδισαν ωστόσο τον άσο από το Εκουαδόρ να "βομβαρδίζει" για εβδομάδες με μηνύματα την 24χρονη νοσοκόμα Sophie Vagsaeter και τελικά να την πείθει να κάνει το ταξίδι από την Νορβηγία για να τον συναντήσει κρυφά σε ξενοδοχείο του Μάντσεστερ όπου και πέρασαν μία ολόκληρη νύχτα.

Η "Sun" δημοσίευσε αρκετές φωτογραφίες από το "παράνομο" ζευγάρι κατά την είσοδό τους στο ξενοδοχείο ενώ παραθέτει και δηλώσεις ανθρώπου της Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ όπου δεν κρύβει τη δυσφορία του για τη συμπεριφορά του Βαλένσια.

"Ο Βαλένσια δεν πήγε καλά κόντρα στην Σίτι. Τώρα μαθαίνουμε ότι έφερε σε ξενοδοχείο μία νεαρή και πήγε μαζί της μετά το τέλος του αγώνα. Αυτό δεν φαίνεται ωραίο.
