Stop στην ιδιοκτησία των παικτών από εταιρίες

Φρένο στην ιδιοκτησία ποδοσφαιριστών από τρίτους (γραφεία μάνατζερ, εταιρίες κτλ) θέλει να βάλει η FIFA η οποία είναι έτοιμη να θεσπίσει τη σχετική απαγόρευση.

Το φαινόμενο παρατηρείται κυρίως στους ποδοσφαιριστές που προέρχονται από τη Λατινική Αμερική και ουκ ολίγες φορές έχει προκαλέσει προβλήματα στις μετακινήσεις αυτών των παικτών στην Ευρώπη.

Ο πρόεδρος της FIFA (και εκ νέου υποψήφιος για την προεδρία) Σεπ Μπλάτερ τόνισε σχετικά: "Πήραμε την απόφαση αλλά η απαγόρευση αυτή δεν μπορεί να ισχύσει αμέσως. Θα υπάρξει μία μεταβατική περίοδος" .

Η απόφαση έρχεται μετά από δημοσίευμα του Guardian για τον Πορτογάλο ατζέντη Ζόρζε Μέντες στο οποίο αναφερόταν ότι ο εν λόγω έχει υπό την κατοχή του ποσοστά ιδιοκτησίας μερικών από τους καλύτερους παίκτες στον κόσμο.
