Υποψήφιος ξανά ο Μπλάτερ

Με μία λακωνική φράση, ο Ζεπ Μπλάτερ ανακοίνωσε την υποψηφιότητά του για τη διεκδίκηση της πέμπτης θητείας του στον προεδρικό θώκο της FIFA.

Ο 78χρονος Μπλάτερ ανακοίνωσε ότι θέτει εκ νέου υποψηφιότητα για την προεδρία της FIFA, προκειμένου να διεκδικήσει την πέμπτη του θητεία (πρώτη φορά εκλέχθηκε το 1998) στο ανώτατο αξίωμα της παγκόσμιας ποδοσφαιρικής ομοσπονδίας.

"Είναι ζήτημα σεβασμού στην οικογένεια του ποδοσφαίρου, να απαντήσω ότι ναι είμαι προετοιμασμένος. Θα είμαι υποψήφιος", ήταν τα λόγια του Ελβετού, ο οποίος αποτελεί τον όγδοο πρόεδρο της FIFA.

Ο Ζερόμ Σαμπάν είναι ο μοναδικός, μέχρι στιγμής, συνυποψήφιος, ενώ όσοι επιθυμούν να διεκδικήσουν την προεδρία της FIFA τον Μάιο του 2015, έχουν δικαίωμα να υποβάλλουν την υποψηφιότητά τους μέχρι τον Ιανουάριο.
