Γιατί έπεσε (τελικά) το αεροπλάνο της Tσαπεκοένσε

Οι ευθύνες του πληρώματος, τα λειψά καύσιμα, η αναγκαστική προσγείωση που δεν έγινε και ο επικεφαλής της εταιρίας που ακόμη δεν έχει παραδοθεί. Οι απαντήσεις που δόθηκαν για το αεροπορικό δυστύχημα που ξεκλήρισε μια ολόκληρη ποδοσφαιρική ομάδα.

Χρειάστηκαν 17 μήνες, από τις 28 Νοεμβρίου του 2016, για να καταλήξουν αρχές στα αίτια που προκάλεσαν τη πτώση του αεροσκάφους που μετέφερε την αποστολή της Τσαπεκοένσε στο Μεντεγίν για ποδοσφαιρικό αγώνα του Κόπα Σουδαμερικάνα.

Το τελικό πόρισμα της Αρχής Πολιτικής Αεροπορίας της Κολομβίας, που δόθηκε στη δημοσιότητα, για ό,τι συνέβη στη μοιραία πτήση έριξε όλες τις ευθύνες στο προσωπικό αέρος.

Οι αρχές κατέληξαν στο συμπέρασμα πως το αεροπλάνο δεν είχε τ' απαιτούμενα καύσιμα για να φτάσει στον τελικό προορισμό του, αλλά οι πιλότοι αγνόησαν τις ενδείξεις και δεν ενημέρωσαν για την ανάγκη επείγουσας προσγείωσης σε κάποιο κοντινότερο αεροδρόμιο, ελπίζοντας ότι στα 40 λεπτά που απέμεναν θα προλάβουν.

" Το πλήρωμα επέμεινε στην εκτέλεση του αρχικού σχεδίου πτήσης, ακόμα και όταν συνειδητοποίησαν ότι είχαν πολύ περιορισμένο αριθμό καυσίμων", ανέφερε η τελική έκθεση που συντάχθηκε μετά την εξέταση όλων των δεδομένων και των παραμέτρων.

Σύμφωνα με τους εμπειρογνώμονες, το αεροπλάνο θα έπρεπε να φέρει στο ντεπόζιτό του τουλάχιστον 11.600 κιλά καυσίμου για να ολοκληρώσει το δρομολόγιο, αντ' αυτού είχε μονάχα 9.300 κιλά, με αποτέλεσμα να ξεμείνει στον αέρα και να επέλθει η σύγκρουση στο ύψωμα και να χαθούν άδικα τόσες ζωές.

Το γεγονός πως δεν υπήρξε ανατίναξη κατά τη σύγκρουση ενισχύει την παραπάνω εκδοχή.

Ο διευθύνων σύμβουλος της αεροπορικής εταιρίας αναζητείται ακόμη και σήμερα προκειμένου να δικαστεί με την κατηγορία της ανθρωποκτονίας. Δεν παραδίδεται στις αρχές γιατί υποστηρίζει πως η δική του δεν θα είναι δίκαιη.
