To παιχνίδι απέναντι στην Μπέρνλι είναι ιστορικό για την Άρσεναλ αφού αυτή είναι η τελευταία ομάδα που θα βρεθεί αντίπαλος του Αρσέν Βενγκέρ στο "Emirates" λίγο πριν ο Αλσατός αποχωρήσει από την τεχνική ηγεσία του λονδρέζιου συλλόγου στο φινάλε της σεζόν.

Μάλιστα, το πόσο σημαντικό είναι για την οικογένεια της Άρσεναλ αυτό το παιχνίδι έγινε κατανοητό πριν καν αρχίσει αυτό.

Οι ποδοσφαιριστές της ομάδας φορούσαν μπλουζάκια που έγραφαν στο μπροστινό μέρος "Ευχαριστούμε Αρσέν" και τα ball boys άλλα που έγραφαν στο πίσω μέρος "Αρσέν 22" (όσα τα χρόνια παρουσίας του στο σύλλογο), ενώ όταν ο Βενγκέρ βγήκε στον αγωνιστικό χώρο είχε σχηματιστεί ένας διάδρομος για να περάσει από τους παίκτες της Άρσεναλ και της Μπέρνλι.

Με τον ίδιο μπαίνει στο γήπεδο συγκινημένος και να χειροκροτεί τον κόσμο, που τον αποθέωνε φωνάζοντας παράλληλα το σύνθημα "There's only one Arsene Wenger".
